This post describes the software used with the miniature router (OpenWrt), the PIC 16F628 lab board, the serial communication and radio protocol.
This low cost solution uses a 3$ PIC16F628 microprocessor and a 15$ OpenWRT router.

You don’t need to cut a hole in your router to mount an extra connector for serial communication.
Use the existing micro USB conector instead! (This example uses a TP-link WR703N running OpenWRT)
The program coverts a neutral polyline- or drill format to cnc code according to your specification.
It works on almost all platforms and can easily be modified (with a text editor)
